Terrified

Im worried. My first payment on my school loans are due soon and here I am with no job. It's daunting when you have such a heavy amount of debt hanging over your head, its actually terrifying. So the first drawing is kind of how I feel. Its a giant crap pulling me into oblivion. My beautiful girlfreind just redesigned and relocated her blog here it is www.cashleybones.com Any way if anyone has any gigs for me out there in reality land then holler at me, screen printing and drawing imaginary things are my specialties, mrpaulsolis@gmail.com.

Life Goes On...

Well, I got fired and I feel it was unfair but, as I titled this blog life goes on. I'm avoiding getting another job right now and doing a bunch of odd jobs.I'm also finishing up this day of the dead mural for the Oakland Art Museum with Ariel Roman and Jesus Septien, It should be dope when its done.I'll post the opening date soon. Its nice being free of any true commitments to a single job but its also terrifying at the same time. Bummer. I'll post some new work real soon, it's been hard because I don't have internet at my house right now and my computer sucks, pray for me.

A few things...

Ashley and I went over with Anthony Skirvin and a bunch of other cats from Ape Do Good and swung from some vines

Ashley and I had a great time, thanks Anthony.

Here is a new drawing I worked on for a few days. I haven't sketched too much because I've been working on single drawings. I am currently occupied with a large sheet of Mylar that I found in my old flatfile at CCA.

Band of Horses - Great Salt Lake

Fixed and Printed.

My bike is fixed in more than one way. It turns out it was my cranks that prevented the rotation. Its good to be on two wheels again. I die a little bit inside every time something goes wrong with my bike. On the CCA side of things a show I was once in is happening again this year, without me. Here is the info and a video I found...

Dammit!

About a half an hour ago my baby broke. My bike (a fuji royale II converted to fixed) made a strange click noise while I was riding and now I have no movement and no trackstands. What now? you ask I have to somehow get it to the shop with no car and a full schedule of work I"m not sure how this is going to be accomplished. I would fix it my self but I have no tools right now,,, this is a buncha crap. Meanwhile here is a video of a talented individual...
