Crabs and Monigle...

Happy birthday to Barry Monigle. We celebrated at ApeDoGood and fun was had by all. Thanks Anthony for buying the crabs. I feel like the only exciting things that happen to me anymore are at Ape Do Good. I forgot to mention a couple of things. I worked on a project a while back with Ariel Roman and Jesus and it is now up at the Oakland Museum in downtown Oakland. So go check it out, its apart of the Dia De Los Muertos exhibit. Enjoy! Also I was finally able to return Demarco McCalls Passport safely to Michael Martin of MASH SF after something like a year, now Demarco gets to go to Japan for the premier of MASH there. Passport...

Ashley and I were in the Mission awhile back, like 6months ago, and a kid rode by on a track bike and something fell out of his pocket. Turns out this kid was Demarco McCall. Demarco was in a little movie called MASH which features San Francisco bike messengers going really fast and being cool on there bikes. So I researched Demarco and emailed Gabe Morford who created MASH and Demarco will get his passport back just in time to go to Japan, I'm glad after so long I was able to return this passport. Anyway here is a drawing...

Lazy Sunday Afternoon...

Well the first half of Sunday has been lazy, but not the second half. Here is a a few images of a mural inside of HazMat, a co-op living space in Downtown Oakland, my friend Ben Seevers and I did awhile back.

Robbin and Stealin'

It's not what you think. I'm not resorting to any sort of criminal activity that involves aquiring goods that aren't mine. Unfourtanetly, a 13-15 year old kid riding a BMX bike on 38th street has a different mind set. I was walking home last night when sed teenager was riding sed bike ahead of me and kept looking back at me. I was in a good mood because I had just completed a great paid day at Ape Do Good Printing. As I walked home from BART this BMX rider was being really suspicious and in a sense I knew what was up. I got to the corner of 38th and Ruby and he put his bag down and he said "Give me all your money!" and I said "No, I have no money" his response was silence. An inquiry as to what was in my chrome bag followed and if I had a laptop. He simultaneously flashed a chrome revolver with a white handle. "No I don't have a laptop" and he rode his bike away and still proceded to watch me as I grabbed my celly and called 911; cause it's the only number I had that was some sort of law enforcement and he came back and further inquired if I was calling the 5-0. I said no and he rode his bike down Webster toward MLK. So, basically telling a 14 yr.old thug "No." really does work. Here some visual stimulation...

I f I don't find some work soon I may have to resort to what these guys are doing, It's almost legit.

Jobless...

Ive been lookin for work and going to my internship at Ape Do Good Printing. Making shirts is fun and I'm learning alot but I don't get paid. So, I have to find a job that pays this has proved to be difficult. Combing Craigslist and the CCA job board as well as walk in resume drop offs at local places I really don't want to work at have been fruitless. I actually don't know what to do I'm tired of bumming off my parents. Anyway enough complaining here is an awesome video from when I went with the nice people at Ape Do Good to a rope swing.
