People

I might do this more often, I wouldn't totally depend on it though. Basically I'm just going to highlight people for art or other random reasons. Maybe just for creativity in any form. Here we go...

Jade Olson

"In my photographs, I attempt to capture people when they are less aware of the way they look. When they are caught in a moment or a thought, a person’s guard comes down. I enjoy these partial truths, these segments of reality. Calling attention to these moments, I can see the break down of the masks we wear in public." quote from Jades website
Jades a great person to have an intelligent conversation with and has the most infectious laugh on the planet. Her photos do exactly what she words them to do.

Nico Dehry
Nico helped me put together my zine a little while ago and she came up with the replacement word for calling someone an asshole it is now "asshold",pure genious. She is also currently helping Manifesto setup and become a great bike shop while hooking me up with the sweet mural job I did for them. Thanks Nico for making Oakland better.

Bubs...

Life has been decent lately. Sorry I haven't been up on the Blog. I have trying to work out some projects in my head. Suddenly I have free time to make art and yet I feel like I am running around making contacts more than art. I feel myself getting closer to calming down and making some solid work. I realize I need people around me to stimulate creative growth, I never stop drawing though. Every free second I escape to my moleskin...

Fosselmans and All Souls

I went to my junior high and an ice cream place (Fosselmans) I have not been to in years, continuing my travels into the past. It was fun I want to thank everyone who hung out with me and gave me rides in LA. You guys are the best.

Galco (Part 2)

Cory, Mony and I visited Monys sister in Alhambra. Nandy wasn't too excited about me photographing her. We then made our way over to a place down the street I haven't been too in many years. Genoveses an Italian restaurant, it was pretty good pizza although the waitress seemed grouchy. Going over to Nandys house in Alhambra brought back all kinds childhood memorys because she lives very close to where I went to junior high(you will see that soon). Then we made our way over to Galco Soda which is an entire store mostly dedicated to different specialty sodas. It's located on York and 57th Avenue in Highland Park. Finally we ended our day together at my grandparents house in El Serenos' Hillside Village. It was great times, fun was had by all. More to come soon...
